Dodge Charger Introduces New Engine Options in Europe, Excludes HEMI
The Dodge Charger is set to launch in Europe with both gasoline and electric powertrains, but it will not feature the iconic HEMI engine. The new models include a turbocharged six-cylinder engine and a fully electric variant with impressive performance metrics.

The Dodge Charger is making its European debut, available with both traditional gasoline engines and a fully electric variant. However, enthusiasts will notice the absence of the classic HEMI engine, which has been a hallmark of the Charger lineage.
Engine Specifications
Instead of the well-known V8 HEMI, the new Charger will feature a turbocharged 3.0 SIXPACK inline-six engine, delivering 420 hp and 634 Nm of torque. This marks an increase of 50 hp and nearly 100 Nm compared to the previous 5.7 HEMI. The Charger Scat Pack will also transition from the 6.4 HEMI V8 to the SIXPACK H.O, producing 550 hp and 720 Nm of torque. The electric Charger Daytona variant continues to offer robust performance with 670 hp.
Performance and Features
Both gasoline and electric models come with all-wheel drive as standard, and the gasoline versions include a feature to decouple the front axle for rear-wheel power delivery. The Charger Daytona electric model employs a 400V architecture and a 100.5 kWh battery, ensuring high performance and efficiency. Additionally, the electric variant includes the Fratzonic Chambered system to enhance its sound profile, preserving the muscle car's auditory identity.
Availability in Europe
The Dodge Charger will be available for order in Europe through KW Automotive's authorized network, with Amencars Madrid designated as the official center for Spain and the Iberian Peninsula. Buyers can choose between two-door and four-door body styles, making the Charger accessible to a wider audience.
