Donkervoort Unveils Right-Hand Drive P24 RS Sports Car

Donkervoort has launched a right-hand drive version of its two-seater sports car, the P24 RS, expanding its market presence. This model features a lightweight design and a powerful 600 hp V6 twin-turbo engine, appealing to driving enthusiasts.

Introduction to the P24 RS

Donkervoort, a Dutch manufacturer known for its lightweight sports cars, announced the addition of a right-hand drive variant of its two-seater P24 RS on July 21, 2026. This marks the brand's entry into markets like the UK, previously only offering left-hand drive models.

Specifications and Features

The P24 RS, a pure sports car focused on driver engagement, boasts impressive dimensions: 4000mm long, 1912mm wide, and 1105mm high, with a wheelbase of 2420mm. Despite its compact size, it offers a cargo capacity of 298 liters.

Powering the vehicle is a dry-sump 3.5-liter V6 twin-turbo engine, paired with a 5-speed manual transmission and rear-wheel drive. This setup delivers a remarkable 600 hp and 800 Nm of torque, all while keeping the weight at just 780 kg. As a result, it achieves a power-to-weight ratio of 1.3 kg/hp, enabling acceleration from 0 to 200 km/h in 7.4 seconds and a top speed exceeding 300 km/h.

User Reactions

The announcement of the right-hand drive model has generated significant interest among users, with comments highlighting the excitement of driving a 600 hp vehicle weighing only 780 kg. Donkervoort’s commitment to a driver-centric experience is evident in features like the unique "Ex-Core" technology, butterfly doors, and a removable roof, while minimizing electronic interventions like power steering and traction control.

As a low-production vehicle, the P24 RS encapsulates a strong dedication to performance and design. Future delivery trends and market reception are anticipated with great interest.
