Genesis Unveils Magma GT and X Scorpio Concepts at Tutto Bene Hillclimb

Genesis showcased the Magma GT and X Scorpio concepts on public roads for the first time during the Tutto Bene Hillclimb event in Italy. This event emphasizes enjoying automotive design and performance over competitive rankings.

Event Overview

On September 9, Genesis debuted the Magma GT and X Scorpio concept vehicles on public roads at the Tutto Bene Hillclimb, held near Lake Maggiore in the Piedmont region of Italy. This unique automotive event is organized by Milan-based design studio Borromeo de Silva and Los Angeles-based creative agency Race Service. Since its inception in 2024, the event has become a prominent automotive culture festival, inviting selected participants and vehicles.

Hillclimb Format

The Tutto Bene Hillclimb features a scenic 9 km mountain road with 51 corners, focusing on appreciating vehicle design and performance rather than competition. This approach allows attendees to enjoy the driving experience and celebrate automotive culture.

Concept Highlights

The Magma GT concept represents Genesis's vision of 'luxury performance,' first revealed at the Magma World Premiere in November 2022 at the Paul Ricard Circuit in France. The X Scorpio concept, designed for extreme off-road adventures, was introduced earlier this year in the Rub' al Khali desert of the UAE. Both models were driven by Genesis racing driver André Lotterer during the event, showcasing the brand's dynamic elegance in diverse settings.

In addition to the two concepts, Genesis displayed the GMR-001 hypercar and Box Buggy concept, highlighting its extensive technical development capabilities from motorsports to future mobility. This event follows last year's participation, where Lotterer drove the X Gran Berlina concept, leaving a lasting impression on attendees.
